Deborah: The Unlikely Hero

The dust motes danced in the shaft of sunlight filtering through the palm fronds, turning the air a hazy gold. Deborah watched them, her brow furrowed. The weight of her people’s despair felt heavier than usual. For twenty years, Jabin’s iron chariots had rattled through their lives, a constant, sickening reminder of their helplessness. Enough was enough.

Can You Be a Christian and Still Be “Cool”?

“What does true coolness look like in light of God’s love?” It’s about radiating the joy and peace that comes from knowing Jesus, living with integrity, and showing genuine love to others. It’s about being confident in your identity as a child of God, rather than conforming to the world’s ever-changing standards.

Whose Are You? Living Confidently as God’s Child

In a world screaming for your attention, demanding you define yourself by fleeting trends and social media likes, a quiet, powerful truth echoes: you are God’s. Not the world’s, not your own, but His. You are held, valued, and purposed by the One who created the universe. Whose opinion matters more? Whose love is more constant? Whose plan is more perfect? Who is Jesus?

Alright, let’s cut to the chase. Life throws curveballs, right? You’re dealing with pressure, figuring out who you are, maybe feeling lost or like you’re carrying a weight that’s too heavy. Social media paints a picture of perfection, but you know it’s not real. Everyone’s got their stuff.

Here’s the thing: you don’t have to carry it alone.

Think of Jesus as someone who gets it. He’s been there, felt the pressure, faced the doubts. He understands the chaos of your world.

Imagine this: you’re driving down a dark, winding road, headlights barely cutting through the fog. You’re trying to navigate, but you’re exhausted, and you’re not sure where you’re going.

Jesus is like that bright, clear GPS. He’s offering to take the wheel, to guide you through the fog and get you to your destination. He’s not going to judge your messy car or your sketchy driving history. He just wants to help you get where you need to be.

This isn’t about some religious experience. It’s about a real, honest connection. It’s about finding peace in the middle of the storm.
